Well, reading Guido's post, I tried to open one of his powerpoint slides with kpresenter (of the KOffice suite). It was a nice way to test the Linux OOM (out of memory) killer. At 1500 MB process size, Linux killed kpresenter and an unrelated daemon :-) But then, I wasn't that surprised - KOffice never was stable for me. OpenOffice worked just great, though.
