For those reading from Germany I can recommend www.domainfactory.de.
For 16 Euro you get both Python 1.5 and 2.0 (and perl, and php, and a
mysql database, everything running on linux). The installed python
modules include mysqldb, but you are not allowed to add compiled
extensions (sorry), and the service is generally really good.
