Natural numbers are the counting numbers (positive integers). Zero is not in the set of Natural numbers (it is only used as a place holder). Now if you said Whole numbers, or non-negative integers, that would have been entirely different. Isn't it nice to have children spread out from 3rd grade to 7th grade? I love helping with math homework... Steve
