I use Vim and Gvim as my default editor(s). On Mandrake 9.1 I've lots of 
problems with Gvim, though. It keeps on 'hanging' with a guaranteed 
crash when I start the program with a path as parameter. So its' 
impossible to open a file in Gvim from Konqueror, for example.

Does anyone know a fix? Or do I have to install Vim from source?
