Hello! I recently switched from Python2.1, which was installed on my system, to Pyhton2.3, which I compiled on my own and installed it in my $HOME. For some reason the interpreter of Python2.3 does no longer recognize the arrow keys. Instead of showing the last command on [ARROW UP], I get a strange escape sequence ^[OA. Why does it behave like that? Did I miss a configure option? I would be grateful for any suggestion. Cheers, Boris
