We are planing to use Tcl/Tk 8.5 for Python 2.6 and 3.0. The topic is
currently being discussed but nothing has been decided yet.

No, not yet. It may be possible to back port Tcl Tk 8.5 support from 2.6
to 2.5 once we have finished the migration to 8.5.
