Wolverine is the best at what they do, being a mutant cursed with lethal Adamantium claws as a result of deep manipulations from those who wished for a living weapon. Logan first adopted the name after being tortured and drastically changed at the hands of Weapon X, ultimately finding solace and help with the X-Men. Finding relative peace and a cause to fight for, he has evolved into an honorable warrior. His clone Laura Kinney shares a similar story, having been designed by the Facility as X-23 in an effort to replicate the Weapon X procedure. Found and rescued by Logan, she has stepped in to honor his legacy, sharing the identity of Wolverine with the man she has come to regard as a father.
