A blue match was one of the four types of Tsunkatse matches, the others being red, green, and yellow.

It was characterized by blue pit lights and blue polaron disruptors on the fighter's gloves and footwear. In a blue match, a fighter won by knocking out his or her opponent or otherwise causing so much pain to the opponent that they would be unwilling to continue. (VOY: "Tsunkatse")
