According to the first draft script of Star Trek Generations, El-Auria was indicated to be the name of Tolian Soran's homeworld, which in later drafts was reduced to simple, indirect references to "Soran's home planet".
According to StarTrek.com, El-Auria was the name of a star. This star was located far beyond Federation space. [1](X)
In the non-canon Star Trek novel Engines of Destiny, the name of the El-Aurian homeworld was indeed given as "El-Auria".
