Ina Rae Hark (19 August 1949–18 August 2025; age 75) was a professor and founder of the Film and Media Studies major at the University of South Carolina. She was the author of many scholarly works regarding film genre and popular media including BFI TV Classics - Star Trek.
In 2015, the University of South Carolina established the Ina Rae Hark Award in her honor to recognize a rising senior in Film and Media Studies with a strong academic record and outstanding scholarly engagement.
