Mikhail Gorbachev was a communist politician and leader of the Soviet Union during the Earth Cold War.

After Jonathan Archer restored a damaged timeline, Gorbachev could be seen with George H.W. Bush in the time stream as the timeline realigned itself. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")
