The Oscar series was a model of android, constructed in the Andromeda Galaxy, that simulated the appearance of the humanoid male.
Androids of this model inhabited the planet Mudd in 2268. (TOS: "I, Mudd")

The pictured android is assumed to be an Oscar series android by process of elimination, as Spock states "... Oscar series, a whole plethora of series in fact." He was otherwise identified by the script notes in the episode's deleted scene, which stated that, in addition to the named female androids, "[o]ther male androids #'s 27 and #444 are also present."
