Alphosa was a planet in the Fabrini Green system, located within Federation space in the Alpha or the Beta Quadrant.
History and specifics[]
The planet was home to a large Orion Colony during the height of Orion civilization in the New Days. Cities survived into modern times, and showed the beautiful classical styles of Orion architecture. (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge)
The planet became a Federation world by the mid-23rd century. During the Four Years War between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, on reference stardate 1/9504 (circa 2253), an Orion merchant vessel was transporting dilithium to Alphosa when it was intercepted by a Klingon task force and was destroyed, triggering the Laxala Incident.
