The Amundsen was a Federation Starfleet class H shuttlecraft assigned to the USS Enterprise-B in the 2310s. It had no armaments, and its only defences were the navigational deflector and a force field to protect the hull.
Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2319, Captain Demora Sulu and Ensign Galatea Kostas took the Amundsen through a trans-dimensional portal on the surface of Rejarris II to rescue Ensign Hawkins Young from the planet on the other side. (ST - The Lost Era novel: One Constant Star)
- The shuttle may have been named for Roald Amundsen.
