Arithrazine is a radiation inoculant used by Starfleet in the 24th century.
History and specifics[]
Arithrazine was used to treat theta radiation exposure. (VOY episode: "The Omega Directive")
Overdoses of arithrazine cause rapid neural depolarization which results in death. In the year 2376, Shathrissia zh'Cheen committed suicide by arithrazine overdose. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)
