Cigar

A cigar is a tightly-rolled cylinder of dried and fermented tobacco or other leaves, designed to be ignited so that its smoke may be drawn into the mouth and lungs. Cigars are common in a number of cultures.

In 1893, Samuel Clemens often smoke cigars during several engagements in San Francisco. He was surprised when he time-traveled to 2369 that the USS Enterprise-D did not have them on hand.(TNG episode: "Time's Arrow")

In 1947, General Rex Denning of the United States Army Air Corps smoked cigars. The Ferengi Quark advised him to quit for the good of his health. (DS9 episode: "Little Green Men")

Starfleet officers such as Vice admiral Les Buenamigo and the USS Stargazer Captain Cristóbal Rios smoked cigars in the 24th century.(LD episode: "The Stars at Night"; PIC episodes: "The End is the Beginning", "The Star Gazer")
