D.H. Lawrence (11 September 1885–2 March 1930) was a male Human author and poet of the 20th century.
Biography[]
In 1986, James T. Kirk quoted several lines from D.H. Lawrence's poem Whales Weep Not! to Doctor Gillian Taylor. (TOS movie: Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home) Later, as Detective Chizum was investigating Taylor's disappearance he found the same quote on the wall of her house. (TOS - Strange New Worlds VI short story: "Whales Weep Not")
