Daria Pierce was a human female Earth Starfleet engineer in the mid 22nd century.

History[]

By 2154, she served as a warp drive specialist aboard the Columbia (NX-02). She was on Commander Charles Tucker's team at the time of the Columbia's launch. (ENT episode: "Affliction")

In 2155, she was on duty in engineering, when the Columbia defended the planet Draylax from Klingon warships. (ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru)

In 2156, Pierce vented plasma from the warp conduits in order to make the Columbia appear to self-destruct to escape Romulan warships after a surprise attack in the Onias sector. Later, after Karl Graylock beamed down with an away team to Erigol and was taken captive, Pierce acted as chief engineer in his absence. She perished along with the rest of the crew after the ship entered a subspace tunnel, and was exposed hyperphasic radiation. (Star Trek: Destiny novel: Gods of Night)
