Hathaway was a 23rd century Human woman. She served in Starfleet as an administrative officer aboard the Federation starship USS Excelsior in the year 2285 under the command of Rear Admiral James T. Kirk.

Biography[]

During Excelsior's survey mission to a previously uncharted planet, Hathaway insisted that Admiral Kirk complete a backlog of routine reports in the two days prior to the ship's rendezvous with the USS Sturgeon, some of which were improperly submitted. She passed along a request from the Federation Diplomatic Corps to clarify aspects of the Ajir-Grond treaty that Kirk negotiated earlier that year. She also noticed discrepancies on old reports dating back to a few of Kirk's USS Enterprise missions in 2266 and 2267. (TOS comic: "The Trouble With Bearclaw")
