Ill Wind is a four issue comic miniseries by Diane Duane, published by DC Comics in 1995 and 1996. The 4 issues were collected in a graphic novel as Volume 88 of the Graphic Novel Collection from Eaglemoss Collections.
Description[]
- Star Trek novelist Diane Duane sends the Enterprise to a Federation-sponsored stellar sailing race — and sabotage is on the horizon.
- Comparisons between starship commanders and ancient sailors have been a staple motif in Star Trek ever since James T. Kirk quoted poet John Masefield in "The Ultimate Computer". Now, Jean-Luc Picard and his crew find themselves in a deep-space yachting race.
- Diane Duane returns to Star Trek accompanied by artist Deryl Skelton. Duane's Romulan-centric novels are hugely popular, and in DC's miniseries Star Trek: The Next Generation — Ill Wind, the author proves why she's such a fan favorite.
