Ivan Trimski was a 23rd century Human man, a Starfleet captain who served as the commanding officer of the Wizard-class Federation starship USS Merlin in 2270.
Biography[]
Trimski helped design the Wizard-class. He was described as balding and having a relaxed, even-tempered personality. Merlin was his first command.
In 2270, Trimski and Merlin were assigned to the covert Operation Shadowfall project to conduct operational tests of a reverse-engineered Romulan cloaking device. They took over for the USS Sparrowhawk, which was destroyed under suspicious circumstances. Not long after starting their cloaked test flight, Security Chief Jack Tarrow was found unconscious with a bad concussion in engineering. Trimski relayed that information to their escort, the Nhat-Le, but allowed the mission to continue. (FASA RPG module: Operation Shadowfall)
