Maria Sanchez was a 23rd century Human woman. She was a Starfleet officer who served aboard the Federation starship USS Yorktown in the 2260s under the command of Captain Evan Foster.
Biography[]
Sanchez was moody, passionate, and impulsive, though able to keep a tight reign on her feelings while on duty. She was an expert in planetology and environmental suit operations. She was also highly skilled in administration, command, Starfleet regulations, and ground vehicle operations. Sanchez spoke both Spanish and Federation standard, and enjoyed carousing in her off-hours. She kept fit with swimming and running.
In the year 2264, Sanchez transferred to the Yorktown, finding herself secure in the role of first officer but uncomfortable with the thought of moving on to a command of her own. She preferred scientific assignments to combat.
In 2269, Sanchez served aboard Yorktown during the ship's exploration of the Sicondor Sector and visit to the Sicon system. (LUG RPG module: TOS Core Game Book)
