Oblik III

Oblik III was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the third planet in orbit of the Pylar star system. It was the homeworld of a reptilian species which resembled the Tyrannosaurus rex.

History and specifics[]

Oblik III had high levels of volcanic activity and resembled Earth during the Cretaceous period.

In 2275, the USS Enterprise was exploring the Oblik system when sensors detected signs of intelligent life. A landing party consisting of Captain James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard McCoy, Hikaru Sulu, Frank Tanka and Wodsworth beamed down to the planet. After encountering pterodactyls, they took shelter in a cave, where they discovered a wall of gemstones, a stream of molten gold, and made contact with the natives, who rescued them when the cave started to collapse.
