Royal Observatory

The Royal Observatory is a historical building in Greenwich, London. It is best known for being the globally accepted reference point for universal time on Earth since 1884, and sits atop the Prime Meridian.

History and specifics[]

Its analogue clock still functioned in the 24th century and was often visited by tourists. The Headquarters of the Federation Department of Temporal Investigations were located half a kilometer north of the observatory. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
