The SS Robert Fox (NFT-1327) was a Federation starship, an El-Aurian registered Whorfin-class transport in service in the 23rd century. The ship had a crew complement of 17 and a total capacity for 165 people. (TNG movie, novelization & comic adaptation: Generations)

The vessel was named for the Human ambassador Robert Fox. (TOS episode: "A Taste of Armageddon")
In 2293, the El-Aurian transports Robert Fox and Lakul were transporting refugees to Earth when both ships were caught in an energy ribbon, the Nexus. they dispatched a distress call, which was answered by the newly-launched Federation flagship USS Enterprise-B. Unfortunately, the Excelsior-class starship was not fully equipped, and the Robert Fox detonated before aid could be rendered, lost with all hands. Captain Montgomery Scott was able to beam 47 El-Aurians off of the Lakul, out of 150, before that ship was destroyed by the Nexus as well. (TNG movie: Generations)
