Tafka was a male Bajoran who lived in the 24th century, during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor.

He was a devoted believer in the Prophets and their message of peace; however, he was also a member of the Bajoran Resistance, and understood that only violent acts could free Bajor. During this time, he became friends with fellow resistance member Hegol Den. Following the end of the Occupation in 2369, Tafka entered a monastery, but two months later, he killed himself, in the belief that he could not be forgiven for his acts during the Occupation.
