Takku was a a 23rd century humanoid man from the planet Womata in the Galaxy T-21 region of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.
Biography[]
In the 2260s decade, Takku was convicted of a crime and sentenced to the death penalty.
In 2266, an Agonite space eagle starship was transporting Takku and other felons when the vessel encountered the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise. Takku convinced Captain James T. Kirk that the Agonites were pirates and that he and the other detainees were innocent captives. The Enterprise disabled the eagle, rescued Takku's group, and left them with defensive weapons and supplies on a nearby planet.
After learning from Roggaf of the Agoni police force that Takku lied about his identity, Kirk, Lieutenant Hurst and a shuttle crew returned to the planet to recapture the felons. Takku refused to surrender his phaser, instead shooting it at Kirk's landing party, saying he'd never be taken alive. Kirk stunned him unconscious. He and the others were taken back in restraints to Roggaf's ship. (TOS comic: "The Eagles Have Landed")
