Biography[]
He held the rank of subcommander in the Romulan Star Empire and served as first officer under Commander Tebok. In 2364 their ship crossed the Romulan Neutral Zone to confront the USS Enterprise crew regarding destroyed outposts. (TNG episode: "The Neutral Zone", ST website: StarTrek.com)
When the Klingon Empire collapsed into civil war between two factions who were competing against one another to determine the rightful successor to the chancellorship. Though the conflict was an internal matter of the Empire, Thei was one of the commanders who assisted the leaders of the duplicitous House of Duras, Lursa and B'Etor. Under Commander Sela, Romulan forces utilised their cloaked vessels to fund the collaborators and their allies with material support until Starfleet blockaded the border zone between their empire and the Klingon state, exposing the movements of battleships from the former that were bound for the Duras.
