The USS Hanson (NCC-2309) was a Chandley-class Federation starship in Starfleet service during the late 23rd century.
Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2274, the Hanson engaged a pair of Gorn cruisers that had attacked and boarded a Liberty-class freighter. Starfleet Marines from the Hanson boarded the Gorn ships, providing Starfleet a firsthand look at Gorn technology. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
