In a parallel universe, the Unity was a 25th century Aetherian spacecraft, a tier 6-rated Revelation-class starship in Aetherian Concordium service in the 2410s decade. Its commanding officer was Leader Grendat-Bex. (STO - Kings & Queens mission: "Situation Under Control")
Service history[]
The Unity in 2411.
In the year 2411, Leader Thaseen-Vei of the Concordium dispatched the Unity to the Jouret star system to join a Khitomer Alliance expedition into another parallel universe threatened by Borg. The Unity rendezvoused with the Lukari starship LSS Reskava and its Alliance escort at the Iconian gateway above Jouret IV. Leader Grendat-Bex beamed aboard the Reskava for an introduction to Admiral Kuumaarke and the other Alliance captain. Their ships modified the gateway into a transdimensional portal. While the Reskava maintained station in the primary universe, the Unity and the remaining Alliance ship traversed the gateway and emerged in a parallel version of the Solanae Dyson Sphere. The Allies were greeted by Magistrate V'Lar of the Iconian Alliance. In this universe, the major powers had been defeated by the Borg and their survivors, including the Pathfinder-class starship USS Crypteia, joined the Iconians.
The Crypteia was under attack from Control Borg. The Unity aided the Crypteia and nearby Iconian ships in combat. When the Alliance captain transported to a spire within the Dyson sphere, Grendat-Bex joined the away team. The party joined the Iconians in defending the World Heart and received reinforcements from Captain Sela of the local USS Enterprise.
Ultimately, Grendat-Bex sacrificed themselves to a giant Control Borg creature that merged from piles of defeated nanite mounds. The Unity continued to fight alongside the Iconian Alliance and Khitomer Alliance against Control Borg Queen Natasha Yar's Borg forces. The Khitomer Alliance ship returned with the Unity to the primary universe after the Control Borg Queen Octahedron was destroyed. Thaseen-Fei reported that Grendat-Bex's sacrifice was not in vain.
