In 2154, at least six Intrepid-class United Earth starships greeted Enterprise NX-01 following its return from the Delphic Expanse mission and escorted the NX-class starship back to Earth. At some point before 2156, an unidentified Intrepid-class participated alongside Enterprise in a battle against Romulan T'varo-class birds-of-prey during the Earth-Romulan War. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
