Wolf 424 also known as Babel system is a binary star system consisting of two class M red dwarf stars with at least a dozen planets and planetoids in orbit, including Babel, which is well known as the Federation's political and diplomatic meeting center.

The Wolf 424 system was visible to the Human inhabitants of Earth, in the Virgo constellation, about 14 light-years distant from the Sol system. (FASA RPG module: The Federation)
