Lifaqport, known in the Federation as the Workday starport, was a 23rd century Orion space station in orbit of Workday, located in the Kalf system within the Turnstile portion of the Triangle. (FASA RPG modules: The Triangle, Orion Rising)
History and specifics[]
Lifaqport was owned and operated by the Lifaq family corporation, under the control of Deak Lifaq. Aside from some Klingon customers, most visitors were independent traders specializing in heavy industrial products or metal exports. In addition to commerce, the station included starship repair and refit facilities. (FASA RPG module: The Triangle)
In the 2280s, the damaged Brenton-class USS Devon was captured and towed to the starport by Orion privateers. At Starbase 10, Commodore Konstantine Spiravos asked a volunteer crew to sneak into Kalf system aboard the captured blockade runner Asheakadh and sabotage Devon while it was in drydock at the starport, with the intent of destroying the starship before it could be repaired and used for mayhem in the Triangle. The explosion aboard Devon caused significant damage to the starport facility. It also crippled or destroyed at least one Ohmera-class Orion patrol ship near the station. (Stardate Magazine vol. 2, Issue 10: "Ohmera Class Patrol Ship")
