Hermits is a sketch that appears in "Full Frontal Nudity," the eighth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis[]

Two hermits (Michael Palin and Eric Idle) speak to each other about being hermits, discussing what they are getting away from and their conditions of living, as well as moss. The Colonel then stops the sketch for being silly.

Trivia[]

• This sketch was originally written for "Owl-Stretching Time" but was removed for use in a later episode when the rehearsal script was assembled. It was to lead on from the Changing on the Beach animation and into Self-Defence.
