Adam Savage (b. 1967) is an industrial designer, actor, and host of MythBusters.

His father, Whitney Lee Savage, animated a number of inserts for Sesame Street throughout the 1970s. Adam Savage provided the voice of Heathcliff in his father's "He, She, and It" animated segments.

In 2011, Savage hosted a Q&A for the film Labyrinth at SF Sketchfest with Brian Henson, Dave Goelz, Karen Prell, and surprise guest Shari Weiser. Video of the event was included among the bonus features on the 25th Anniversary 4K UltraHD Blu-ray of the film in 2016.

Adam Savage recorded a "Muppet Labs Field Test" segment on gravity with Bunsen and Beaker for Muppets Now. The segment was not used in the streaming series, but was later shared on the Muppets' YouTube channel in 2025. (YouTube)

For Shout! Factory TV's "Farscape Fandemonium Marathon" in 2023, Savage interviewed Brian Henson and series creator Rockne S. O'Bannon. The interview was later included in the Farscape - The Complete Series: 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray set.

Following MythBusters, Savage launched a YouTube channel called Tested focusing on various projects he's working on. Several episodes focus on The Jim Henson Company and its inner workings.
