SCENE 4 Big Bird flies in and finds Mr. Hooper trying to find a place to store his empty boxes until he can find more room for them. Big Bird wants to help and suggests he put them on the table outside. Mr. Hooper explains that the table is for customers — like Bob, who comes by and asks him for a chocolate soda. Big Bird is amazed at Mr. Hooper's prescience, and continues to think of another place for the boxes.

Big Bird has piled the boxes in front of the back entrance to Hooper's Store. He thinks the pile will be safe from harm, until Mr. Hooper points out that someone could knock the boxes down. Big Bird puts this to the test by going inside the store, deciding to tell others to avoid the boxes. He realizes that nobody else is in the store, so he exits through the door and knocks all the boxes down (putting his head through one of them). Big Bird is once again amazed at Mr. Hooper's prescience.
