Description
SCENE 1Mr. Snuffleupagus greets Jay on the street and explains that he was writing the alphabet, but he made a mistake, so he's going to throw his paper away. When he tosses it on the ground, Jay tells him he can't just dispose of it anywhere, it has to go in a trash can. Snuffy realizes what he's done, leaves the trash where it is for now, and leaves to go home and retrieve his trash can.

SCENE 2 cont'd
Maria and Mr. Hooper approach the oversized trash can and figure it's the biggest of its kind anyone's ever seen. They wonder how it got there and figure it must have something to do with Oscar the Grouch. They confront Oscar about leaving such a monstrosity right in the middle of Sesame Street, but he claims it's his first time seeing it and says it can stay right where it is; he loves it. Maria and Mr. Hooper disagree; it can't stay there. They can't move it themselves, so they leave to get some help.
