SCENE 4 Oscar sees David with an empty tin can, and wants it for himself. He grabs it from David, who gets upset and grabs it right back. He chides Oscar for having such bad manners, and teaches him how to ask nicely for something. Oscar resists at first, starting by asking in a loud, grouchy way, but reluctantly gives in and whispers politely for the can. Once David hands it to him, Oscar gripes about all the extra effort it took just to get it.
