SCENE 1 Gordon demonstrates up and down by mailing a letter: he holds it up before putting it down into the mailbox. He then asks Oscar to help out, but he naturally refuses. Oscar becomes very agitated when Gordon and a nearby kid point out every time he's up or down from inside his trash can.

SCENE 4 Big Bird is putting some new nails into the construction doors that lead to the playground and his nest, and he's about to use the ladder that's currently holding a bucket of nails. Bob warns him about foot traffic as a possible hazard, but Big Bird has planned for this with a "DO NOT OPEN" sign, and puts it on the outside of the doors. Bob tries to tell him about those on the other side of the wall who can't see the sign when Luis exits through the door, accidentally knocking over both the ladder and the nails.
