SCENE 2 Big Bird, masquerading as the famous pirate Long John Bird, encounters David, Maria and Bob in the yard. He wonders what kind of game he could play as a pirate, and Bob suggests he go on a treasure hunt. Maria explains how it works, and Big Bird leaves for the Jolly Roger as the others work on the map and the treasure.

SCENE 3 Big Bird finds the treasure map at his home, and follows the written directions on it. The map leads him out of his nest area, down Sesame Street, towards a "hanging donut" (the tire swing) in the yard, past a stool near Hooper's Store, and finally to a pile of boxes at the Fix-It Shop. He "digs" for the treasure by lifting one of the boxes and comes across a small treasure chest, which contains … birdseed! Bob, Maria, and David all congratulate the pirate bird on his adventure.

Next, Sam prints out all the words on separate cards. Finally, Sam prints out a perfect albeit large sign, but David no longer needs it as the bank is now closed.
