As the scene resumes, Lulu watches on and contemplates joining Rosita and Zoe, but she thinks they might not accept her. However, they gladly let her sing with them, hence becoming "Three Monster Girls Who Love to Sing." They do one more verse of "Goodbye Fly" before Telly freezes the action again, postulating what they eat for lunch... |

SCENE 1 cont'd | At Hooper's, the three monster girls sing a round of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." Lulu orders three peanut butter sandwiches, but Alan is out of peanut butter (a convention was in town). Telly briefly comments on the crisis and almost forgets to unfreeze everybody. Alan instead offers today's special: a cheese sandwich with a side of carrot sticks and cranberry juice. The girls decide to try it, and they realize they're now "Three Monster Girls Who Love to Sing, and Who Also Love to Try Different Foods!" Telly recaps: "And there you have it: they came in with peanut butter on their brain, and end up with cheese sandwiches on their breath." He then foretells another problem... |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The monsters each want to sing a different song and start arguing. Miles and Gabi come by and propose taking turns, but the group disagrees over which song to sing first, so they suggest picking another song everyone wants to sing. A familiar opening vamp starts to play, which helps them decide to sing "Sing." Telly, who's fed up with reporting, begins to rant about wanting to sing with the others. Zoe yells, "Freeze!" and they allow him to join the group. |
