SCENE 2 cont'd | Zoe puts a red bowl on her head as a pretend hood. Feeling creative, Rosita puts her hair in a bunch of ribbons and announces that she will not be a scary wolf like in the story, but rather a merry and harmless wolf and sings a song about it. Zoe still wants to be a wolf, so Rosita thinks they should play the story of the "Two Friendly Wolves" instead. Zoe exchanges her red bowl for a head full of twinkly barrettes, and the two monsters enjoy howling as they look for an adventure to go on. |

SCENE 2 cont'd | Meanwhile, Telly is enjoying a quiet game with his triangle collection in the community garden when he's interrupted by the wolves. They want Telly to be an evil magician and beg him to play with them long enough to put the Two Friendly Wolves under a spell, turning them into rocks. The wolves realize quickly that being a rock is pretty dull, so they persuade Telly to play again, this time as the Brave Knight who breaks the spell. They promise to leave Telly alone and decide to seek adventures everywhere. |

SCENE 2 cont'd | Meanwhile, a real wolf (Joey Mazzarino) hears all the howling and discovers the Two Friendly Wolves and wants to play with them. He worries about them not liking him, but asks anyway only to find Zoe and Rosita aren't real wolves. They explain that they're pretending, and the wolf wants to pretend too. He decides to be a pig and the two girls join him, all changing into some pig ears, snouts, and curly tails. The three pretend pigs are having a fine time looking for sticks to build their pretend houses when Telly appears, howling and ready to pretend to be a wolf with the group. Since the others are pigs he has to chase them, which is fun for everyone! |
