SCENE 1 | In the yard, Prairie Dawn directs the Sesame Street Songbirds choir to sing "Sing," but when Big Bird gets to his solo part, he starts hiccupping. He stops the song, and the choir attempts to get rid of Big Bird's hiccups. After neither Big Bird drinking water nor Grover scaring Big Bird are successful, Prairie sends everyone away for a short break. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Rosita, Elmo, and Nina find Big Bird looking down and sighing at the community center, feeling a very big feeling. Nina identifies this feeling as disappointment, and Rosita shares the time she was disappointed when one of her guitar strings broke, after which she took a deep breath and continued playing. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Nina suggests that all four of them take a deep breath and do a tree pose, which signals a talking tree (Leslie Carrara-Rudolph) to explain. Encouraging the audience to follow along, the tree talks through the process of placing one heal over the other ankle and placing the hands together, then raising the hands (or "branches") above the head while inhaling and lowering the arms while exhaling. |
