Melanie Griffith (b. 1957) is an actor famous for films such as Something Wild, Working Girl, and Cecil B. Demented. She is the daughter of actress Tippi Hedren. She contributed a "Pesto Sauce for Pasta" recipe for Miss Piggy's 1996 cookbook In the Kitchen with Miss Piggy.
Griffith later performed the voice for the CG character Margalo in Stuart Little 2, a 2002 film that also included puppet effects by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
She appeared on Capitol Hill with Kermit the Frog, Bo Derek, and her mother to support the Shambala Wild Animal Protection Act of 2000 bill when it was presented to the US Congress.
