Meryl Streep (b. 1949) is an acclaimed actress of stage, screen, and television. Over the course of her career, she has garnered several prestigious accolades including Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as nominations for Grammy Awards and Tony Awards.

In 2010, she and Miss Piggy made the rounds on the red carpet together at the Good Housekeeping Shine On Event.

Streep's film credits include Julia (with Jane Fonda), Woody Allen's Manhattan, Kramer vs. Kramer (with Dustin Hoffman), Sophie's Choice, Out of Africa (with Robert Redford), She-Devil (with Roseanne Barr), Death Becomes Her (with Goldie Hawn), The River Wild (with Kevin Bacon), The Bridges of Madison County, Adaptation (directed by Spike Jonze), The Hours (scored by Philip Glass), The Devil Wears Prada (with Anne Hathaway), Mamma Mia! As a voiceover artist, she has featured in Steven Spielberg's A.I. Artificial Intelligence (with Robin Williams), The Ant Bully (with Julia Roberts), and Wes Anderson's adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox (with George Clooney). Her television credits include The Earth Day Special, playing Bart's girlfriend in The Simpsons, Big Little Lies, narrating Makers: Women Who Make America, and Only Murders in the Building (with Martin Short).
