The Italian Job is a 1969 caper film starring Michael Caine and Noël Coward. A team of criminals and expert specialists heists a gold bullion shipment in Italy. Since the filmmakers had originally intended to make a sequel, the movie ends on a literal cliffhanger, as the bus containing the crew and the gold teeters precariously off a cliffside.
The movie was remade, sans teetering, in 2003.
