Yes! We've introduced Rember MCP, which works with Claude Desktop and other chat apps that support Model Context Protocol (MCP). After installing Rember MCP, you can drop a PDF into Claude and say something like "create cards from chapter 2 of this PDF", Claude will then create the cards directly in Rember. Yes! With Rember MCP, you can chat with Claude, ask questions, and receive answers as you normally would. When you come across information you want to remember, simply tell Claude "Help me remember this," and it will automatically create cards in Rember based on your conversation. This makes it easy to transform your AI discussions into lasting knowledge.

Our Free plan lets you generate cards with AI for up to 30 notes per month. If you need more, the Pro plan is available for $8/month and allows you to generate cards with AI for up to 1,000 notes per month, plus priority support.

Your content is private by default and will remain so. You can choose to share it via a link, but your review data will always stay private.

Rember works on all modern browsers, including mobile. The card editor is optimized for desktop Chrome-based browsers (Chrome, Arc, Microsoft Edge). We recommend creating and editing cards on desktop and reviewing them on either desktop or mobile.

Rember is currently a PWA (progressive web app) that works on both desktop and mobile, even when you are offline. You can also add an icon to your home screen on Android and iOS for faster access. Once we reach maturity with the PWA, we will likely introduce mobile apps.

Rember supports question-answer cards. We're also planning to add text occlusions, image occlusions, multiple choice cards, and special card types, such as those for practicing chess moves.

In traditional SRS like Anki, you are writing your flashcards manually. Rember captures what you are learning and generates flashcards for it using AI. Rember also has a much simpler and more intuitive design than Anki or SuperMemo, it uses modern review scheduling algorithms (FSRS) by default. Unlike other AI flashcard generators, Rember creates high-quality cards that test deep understanding, not just surface-level facts. Rember has only a handful of important settings that have sane defaults, making it easier to get started. For users who want more control, Rember also supports manual card creation.

Yes, we have an Anki add-on that syncs flashcards from Rember to Anki, allowing you to create cards in Rember and review them in Anki. However, the sync is one-way only (Rember → Anki), and review data doesn't sync between platforms. You can use Rember and Anki together by either: (1) creating and reviewing new cards in Rember while keeping old cards in Anki, or (2) creating cards in Rember and reviewing all cards in Anki. Full bidirectional sync with review data is planned for the future.
