Xiang Ling is currently an associate professor with the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS) Beijing. His primary research interests are software security, data-driven security, AI security, and network/web security. He obtained his Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University and his Ph.D supervisors are Prof. Shouling Ji and Prof. Chunming Wu. During his Ph.D period, he also worked with Dr. Lingfei Wu and Dr. Tengfei Ma from IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Prof. Ting Wang from PSU, and Prof. Bo Li from UIUC.
