Season 11 first aired on September 26, 1999 with its first episode, "Beyond Blunderdome", and ended May 21, 2000 with its final episode, "Behind the Laughter".

The Simpsons Complete Season Eleven box set was released in:

  • Region 1- October 7, 2008
  • Region 2- October 6, 2008
  • Region 4- November 6, 2008

Some Season 11 DVD box sets featured a limited-edition collector's box with a 3D Krusty the Clown face on the front.

  • This is the last season to have:
    • A full televised run in the 20th century.
    • A Korean dub.
    • Every episode airing with a noticeably higher-pitch in other countries due to PAL speedup.
      • Starting around Season 12, some episodes would need to be heard in some parts of the UK and France to obtain the PAL-pitched effect.
  • This is the first season to use the full-length Opening Sequence in every episode, not counting the Treehouse of Horror specials.
  • This is the first season where Tress MacNeille does voice work in every episode, continuing to do so to this very day.
