Tony Bennett (August 3, 1926-July 21, 2023) was an American singer of traditional pop music, standards, show tunes and jazz. He has released over 70 albums during his career. He sang the song "Capital City" in "Dancin' Homer". He was the first person to guest star on the show as himself. He died at his home in New York City on July 21, 2023 at age 96.^{[citation needed]}

A rerun of the episode "Carl Carlson Rides Again" was dedicated in his memory.
